Prime Business Development Manager
Established in 1997, PRIME is a global postal co-operative organization of about 160 National Designated
Operators. The members’ vision is to successfully develop and deliver high quality tracked delivery
services and added-value features in the cross-border mail category. PRIME has a strategic focus of
developing competitive postal solutions for the e-commerce market.
The Role
The PRIME Business Development Manager assists the Head of PRIME particularly on:
Facilitating and supporting member Posts in their participation in PRIME;
Designing new product features and improving added value service;
Drafting material for the promotion of PRIME products and services;
Expanding the usage of the Global Customer Service System and the International Merchandise Return
Service;
Enhancing the features of the PRIME website;
Preparing presentations, documents for, and minutes of, the PRIME Meetings.
This varied and challenging role is likely to suit an individual who can demonstrate:
- 5 years+ international experience, preferably in product development, marketing and operations
in a postal network service company; - A track record of designing, developing, and implementing product and services in the postal
environment. - Successful experience of managing in a complex and demanding operations service environment
with diverse internal and external stakeholders; - Successful experience in managing to agreed business objectives and targets.
- Excellent and in-depth usage of Power Point, Excel and Word is a must
Added advantages would be previous experience in the postal industry, and of working in an international
multi-cultural environment.
Candidates should have a university degree or higher (desirably in logistics or a related subject) and be
fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish. Additional common/useful languages are an asset with
a preference for French. The candidate should be detail-oriented and adaptable to a fast-paced
environment.
